By gayarsThis is a buyable teddy bear stand. It is found in the shopping/miscellaneous area in the Community catalog for $150. It is also available in residential lots in general/miscellaneous, so you can use it in home businesses.
The bear is right next to the regular teddy bear for $49 if you don't want to go to the store.
This is another clone of the perfume stand so NIGHTLIFE IS REQUIRED.
This can be used in open for business owned businesses, but was mainly intended for unowned ones.
"Known issue" due to using perfume carrying animations, the teddy bear is carried on its side, facing the sim's belly while going to the checkout.
A big THANK YOU to Celebkiriedhel (here or here or here) for the teddy bear texture! Didn't she do darling work?
By gayarsThis is functional soap. It was a request. It is found in plumbing/miscellaneous for 1 simolean. It is placeable on several surfaces, but for placement near a sink, I recommend a shelf above the sink for it, as there is something in the programming of the sink that makes the sink disappear if placed to the left of it. If you click on the soap, and choose use soap, the sim will spongebathe with it until their hygiene goes up, or their other needs drop too low. The object was made for use on community lots, where there are pools for a medieval type neighborhood, so they sims spin into their swimsuits first, and then revert to everyday clothing afterward. If you place the object into a sim's inventory, they will be able to be told to use soap from their pie menu, so you can carry it with you to community lots.
This is usable by teens, young adults, adults, and elders ONLY. I had to custom make the animation, so I only made it for those age groups. I did the very best I could on this animation but be warned, it IS a custom animation, so has a small amount of clipping.
There are several recolors for it, as it comes in cream as the base mesh color (which will come as a surprise for my testers, as they had tan :D), then pink, blue, yellow, green, and tan.
A big thank you to all my testers, Lach, Jottiz, and Alet and also to Fansee for making me a GIF of the animation
By gayarsThis has been a long time coming, and I am sorry about that! Thank you to all my testers that led to this moment, Lach, Jottiz, Alet, Karen_Lorraine, Twi, Gummilutt, and several others who helped me figure out parts of it, CMO, MSD, and Lee. The picture above shows the stand with it's one recolor I did for medieval hoods.
This is basically a version of my functional soap, with the soap standing upward instead of lying down, that is a clone of the Nightlife perfume stand, so yes, Nightlife is required so that it would be a sellable item in stores. I have made the use soap part be in English only as in other languages it said use cologne, which was a late find. I have worked with it to figure out the best settings for Open for Business, although the initial reason for choosing this was so that it could be sold in unowned businesses. I wanted it to be as useful for as many people as possible.
This, like the functional soap, also has a pie menu option, but says use soap from stand instead of use soap, in order to keep it separate from the functional one. The soap is both able to be purchased straight from the buy catalog under plumbing/miscellaneous for 2, 10, or 25 simoleans, depending on which package you download, and the stand is available in community lots under shopping, misc. for 150 and in the catalog on residential lots under misc/misc for 150, so that it is available for home businesses. I have included tuning instructions in notepad and a tuning jpg picture and one stand recolor in each folder/zip file as well as the 4 packages necessary for this to work.
If you put the soap in the person's inventory, that is when the pie menu option pops up. The animation is the same as the functional soap, and again only applies to teens, young adults, adults, and elders. They do a custom spongebathing animation that raises hygiene. You can either purchase the soap from the stand, or you can purchase it from the buy catalog. Same price either way. You can click on the bar, or you can put in inventory and click on the sim.
If you mainly just want it available for your poor sims, and don't intend to use it in stores that are owned really, I would suggest the 2 simolean package. (the buyablesoap2deflangsrplusrecolor.zip one)
The 10 simolean and the 25 simolean ones work about as well in an owned business. They all work, but the higher priced ones sell better in owned businesses.
The 10 simolean zip is called buyablesoaprepriced10deflangsrplusrecolor and the 25 is buyablesoaprepriced25deflangsrplusrecolor. These ALL share the same guids so you can only have ONE in your downloads folder!
The tuning information is in case you want to change the prices of the soap to a custom price that isn't available for download.
I hope I didn't leave anything out
A big THANK YOU to Fansee for making me a GIF of the animation used in both the buyable soap and the functional soap.
By RebecahI have created this mod in response to a request from TheNinthWave, thanks Jon for the request.
This mod allows your married sims to renew their vows.
Many thanks to Nonni and Alet for testing!

By RebecahThis mod was created due to a request from our dear friend Nonni, and allows toddlers to get on without an adult.
This is an object mod, which only adds to the EA Spring Rider Toy.
I created a custom animation for the toddler to get on the spring toy, and added the ability for toddlers to gain body skills, only when they get on the toy themselves. They will not gain skills if an adult places the toddlers on it. Toddlers are able to get on the spring toy autonomously, for fun needs.

Thanks to Alet and Nonni for testing this!

With this mod children can now play on the card table, and no actual money is lost. It's a default replacement of the Maxis Nightlife card table. Nightlife is required. The only thing I couldn't get working is the seated animation so there is no phonebook, so the kids legs stick out in their seats, but you don't really notice it in gameplay and can take screens without it. Anyway, enjoy!
By TheNinthWavePosted 30 March 2009 - 10:31 PM
With the sucess of my unlimited uses for elixir of life, I now bring you unlimited uses for the RenuYuSenso Orb. The way the aspiration reward works is that it lets you change your aspiration and/or turns ons and turn offs. Maxis only allows for 5 uses, but now you can use it 9,999 times! So your sims will have much more diversity. I hope you all enjoy it very much!

These Unlocked alien eyes are completely safe to place in the downloads folder, because they weren't made the conventional way of unlocking things. I made them by borrowing a texture that I found in C:/Computer/EA games/The Sims 2/TSdata/Res/sims3d and I made a new set of eyes in bodyshop. So these will NOT unlock the delete key in CAS screen, and there is no need to place them anywhere special.

With this mod, all base game paintings will be hidden in the Object bin. If you already have some on your wall, they will disappear. Also, any recolors that you have downloaded in the past will be gone. I personally really don't like any of the base game paintings that's why I made this. I hope you enjoy it, it took me a very long time to make!

With this mod, Maxis cars will no longer show up in the buy mode catalog. I'm very excited to be sharing this because this is something new that I learned how to do, which is to hide Maxis objects. If you already have a Maxis car in your driveway, it will just disappear, so you will need to buy a custom car (or the helicopter from FT, that's not hidden cus it's so cool). This will not hide career cars for Maxis or custom careers, only driveable cars. Of course Nightlife is required because that's where cars come from. Enjoy Please!

With this mod you can choose any combination of t.v. stations that you would no longer like to have in your game. This is great if you don't use all the t.v. stations or don't like certain channels that your sims tune in to. This will hide the t.v. stations from the pie menu, and sims can no longer watch the ones that you download. Do Not Download All Of These Files! If you download them ALL your sims can NOT watch T.V.! You CAN download more than one, but Do Not Download Them All! Seen in the picture is an example of if you download all of the hiders Except for Sports, and Weather.
This is compatible with the base game.
I hope you enjoy this, I hope to bring you tons of new and exciting hiders!

This will let you buy rain. Cost 60 simoleons found under misc, misc. It will start raining immeadatley after you place it on the grid. If it's already raining, there will be even more rain! This object is ideally most for storytellers.
I've found it will stop raining after about one day even if you don't exit without saving changes.
The object is invisible in the bin, and on the ground.
There are no dark skies with the rain, the sky stays the same.

My very first hack ever!!! Many thank you's to rebecah for her assistance, and to Ressu for checking my first file.
Interactive Bulletin Board! A Collection of artwork, notes and photos grace this large bulletin board. Elders, Adults, Teens and Children can pray over those on the prayer list and max most their needs!
The prayer animations are rebecah's. She graciously allowed me to put them in my bulletin board. She also helped me with the file when I got stuck. (The sims would not stop praying! LOL!)
environment of 3
Found in Decorative/Wall Hangings
EP FREE TIME needed
I recolored the painting "Living Room with Man and Woman" from the Free Time EP to create a bulletin board. I wanted one that would look nice up against a desk. There is a prayer list on the bulletin board, as well as some things MyHatty and CricketDi gave me for my birthday present. And a world map so the Sims can see where their online friends live.
I have tested this file thoroughly in my game, and am satisfied it works like it's supposed to. But PLEASE, if you do find a problem, let me know asap! The only way I can learn is if someone points it out. Thanks!
Credit goes to rebecah for sharing her prayer animations and for her help.
Credit also to those who gave feedback about this project, and answered questions, and cheered me on.
I FORGOT!!! Credit to ECHO for a great tutorial! Making Your First Custom Interaction tutorial by Echo
Enjoy the Interactive Bulletin Board!
The Super Bathtub is cloned from Krampft Industries "Hubba Tubba" bathtub, from the base game.
If you are like me, you always choose the colonial shower to put in your bathrooms, because it gives the highest points. But you can't see past it, and sometimes it just gets in the way!
So I chose a bathtub to keep the Sims clean because it won't get in the way, and gave it higher points - Comfort 10, Hygeine 10 and Environment 10.
It's only 50 simoleans. Infants, toddlers and pets can also be bathed in the Super Bathtub. It will also turn dark when it gets dirty.
If you enjoy this leafy design, you may also find The Leafy Collection of bath items beneficial. Find them here: The Leafy Collection

Hello, I really didn't know where this goes, so I put it here. What this is a recolor of the taxi in The Sims 2, I maybe making more colors soon. This isn't a buyable object it will overwrite the taxi the game has, but be warned don't have other taxi colors in your game or it may crash your game. This maybe the only taxi recolor I will share with everybody, but you could always get more from visiting my Sims 2 Freedom Forum, when I make more.

Icefox120 requested that I make the children's options for the 'Durably Plush Teddy Bear' available to adult sims. Why shouldn't the adults, teens and elders be able to take their frustrations on the Teddy Bear? They can also carry him.
Please note the animations are not perfect as I am only able to use what is available in the game. I have not learned to create custom animations yet.
Credits to: All that help make this possible.

Thanks to all that have written their great tutorials. Echo has taught me more than anyone and I highly recommend her tutorials found at MTS2.

Today my llama ninja sim presents to you a new sink!
This sink is a new mesh and i also included the sponge bath menu option for it, but unlike my global hack this is a object hack and will not infect the maxis sinks.
It's cheaper then the maxis sinks for only ?175 and you will find it in Plumbing/sinks!
- No global hack but object hack it won't affect maxis sinks
- Sims sponge baths himself until hygiene mood bar is full
- Sims sponge baths himself as fast as showering
- 100% compatible with the global hack i made for the maxis sinks
extract the rar-file and put the package file in your downloads folder

It's bigger then previous and of course fully functional.
You can use it on residential and community lots!
Easy for your sim to not have to go shopping for new clothes.
You can find it in Decorations -> Sculptures
Price is 550 simoleans.

I wanted for some time now to create a surprise box, but always i kept on postponing it, but finally here it is!
What it does:
Mainly this item looks at the moods of your sim and compares them to give an outcome.
Even tho these outcomes are also randomized, sometimes it does give you some good or bad results!
I would suggest to not use it all the time after eachother, but more during the sims complete day every once in a while!
The reason i say this is because this box will alter your moods most of the time, and 2-3 bad outcomes may drain much of his moods to a low.
Not only will it change moods, but also it can give you skill points in the category's like body and charisma that are somewhat harder to learn than the others.
It can even give you an extra wants or fears slot!
Above that sometimes it spawns a decoration object, that you may sell or use in your house.
It can also give you money once in a while, but those are harder to get!
And of course this wouldn't be a real surprise box if the ultimate bad outcome wouldn't be death!
This can happen but very very rarely!
So don't be surprised if suddenly you get visit from the grim reaper after using this box.
When you use it intensive, it might get frustrating, sometimes you get a few good surprises and suddenly you get many bad ones and before you know it your sims moods are in the red!
Overuse can lead to desperation, be warned!
This box checks the energy and hunger levels and the option to make a surprise wish will become unavailable if they are to low (about 25% level)!
Now that said, some outcomes have also a small animation behind them, but most of the time it's an easy and fast to use item, so it won't bother to much in the daily tasks your sim has.
Some examples of surprises:
You find this box in decorations/sculptures!
It costs $2500 and has also a nice 10 points room score!
Best is to place it on a end table, with the placement arrow facing front!
Make sure nothing is blocking the front view, otherwise your sim won't use it!!!
This item will work with the University expansion or any other above!
Mesh and coding i did myself!
Vertices: 24 - Faces: 12
All comments as always welcome!
Have fun with the surprise box!

Llama ninja is proud to present "smithy's thombstone of life and death for Bon Voyage"
With extra options!
This thombstone has some useful extra options coded by myself!
I spend a lot of time testing this hacked object and i didn't ran into bugs!
However if you do find one in your game you can always ask me to fix it.
You will need the Bon Voyage expansion for this object!
Please read this entire text, it will give you a clear view of what every option can do!
The menu options:
The options "new teen female, new child boy, new child girl, new adult male, new adult female, new toddler girl and new toddler boy, new teen male, new elder man, new elder woman" add a new sim to your family, corresponding to the type you select.
So when you press "New teen girl" one random new teen girl will added to your family.
The game will not select a townie or existing sim but makes a new one.
Age transition: will age your sim one level up!
Age transition Cinematic: does the same but will play the cinematic event for that age change, maybe useful for movie makers.
Add neighbor to your family: Here you get a list of the names of the sims in your neighborhood and you can select one to add to your family.
Also the NPC's will show up on that list, yes even mrs crumplebottom!
But do not add crumplebottom or the grim reaper into your household, or the game crashes and it can even corrupt the objects data file!
Get family member: This will only show up when there is a sim passing by on the lot, but you can also add that sim by this option.
If there are more sims on the lot then you will get more names.
New baby: a new baby wil be spawn!
Cinecam baby: the same but with cinematic event movie.
Get pregnant with...: with this option you can also mix 2 sims their dna and have a baby.
Make me alien pregnant: I think this speaks for itself, your sim gets a alien baby!
Rename sim: this can only be done with selectable sims so not with the baby, but you can change the name of your sim.
Show parents and siblings relationships: This option doesn't work and does nothing!
Make me family child: this option makes the sim who is selected part of the family.
Make me friendly to everyone here: This option is very useful to be friends instantly with the other sims. (90 for short and long term friendship)
The age baby options aren't what you think they are, it will not age the baby itself but instead make a clone and make it already adult.
To age the baby itself there will come up a new option "Age baby..." when you press that you can age the baby by selecting his/her name.
In this case it's baby boy because you cannot select a name when the baby gets spawned.
If you click that then the baby will become a toddler.
Also when you have a baby there will come up a option "Name baby..." here you can rename the baby.
Baldness on and baldness off: Your sim becomes bald or back normall with those options.
Setup lot export: this option doesn't do anything!
I added a few extras because i thought they would be useful also on this hack.
Kill selected sim:
Here you can choose the options that a sim can die, it also makes the grim reaper appears!
Do not add him to your family, it crashes the game!
Finally and a very valuable option is the "Add extra wants slots"!
I included this option so you can have more wants slots without going to university!
However do know you won't have a diploma with it, therefor you still need to go to the uni.
The maximum your sim can have is 7 wants slots!
The thombstone costs ?250 and you will find it in Misc/Misc! (see screen below)
This is not a global hack and won't do anything to maxis objects, but however be careful who and what you add to your family!
Because if it's a neighbor sim then that sim will suddenly live in your lot and not with their family anymore!
All questions and comments welcome!
Enjoy the "smithy's thombstone of life and death for Bon Voyage"!

This is a object hack not a global hack and it will not overwrite any maxis codes.

With this newspaper kiosk you can buy newspapers and magazines at your home!
When you place this kiosk on your lot then the newspaper delivery boy will stop passing by!
No need for him to come when you can get yours every day at this kiosk.
When you select a option you want to buy, the magazine or newspaper will appear in the empty space of the kiosk.
You can click the newspaper/magazine to read or whatever you can do with them.
You can also use this kiosk on your community lots!
You will find it in decorations/sculptures!
Works for all games, No expansions needed!
The mesh was done by myself and the coding was done by Katy!
I had this upload also under my name at smb!
Polycount (2 tile object)
Have fun with this kiosk!
By KevinsHopePosted 03 July 2007 - 11:17 PM
My intent in creating this painting was two fold. The most important of these reasons was to create an object that would save creators time in testing their objects. For example, if you want to test a bed and your sim has full energy, then you can use this painting to drain their energy. The second intent I had was to try out and learn some new techniques for myself, including manipulation of stats, changing tile count, adding dialog boxes..that sort of thing, so there are some fun things that the painting does that serve no real purpose for object creation. I consider this as a work in progress as I want it to be a catch all creator's tool, but it is already highly useful for many functions, so I am going to post it as is. You may want to keep an eye out for updates. No global hacks were used in this object and it has been tested with Nightlife, though I believe it will work with the base game.
Here are the things you can control...
*Finances: You can easily add money to your sim's account or donate money to charity to earn nice points. Don't get too greedy with this one, as I have a surprise for the greedy sim.
*Clothing: You can use this painting to change into any outfit that you need them to be in.
*Skill points: You can add skill points either by category or add a random skill point to your sim.
*Commit suicide: This option makes your sim die. Don't use this on a sim that you don't want dead.
*Aspirations: You can fill your sim's aspirations and mood.
*Time of day: You can change the hour to any time of day. This was to make it quick and easy to test an object in the dark or daylight, depending on what the creator needed. I have often needed to change to nighttime or see how an object affects the game over a matter of hours. This accomplishes that. NOTE: If you alter the time from a daylight hour to a night time hour or vice versa, the change will not take affect until you do an action that resets game state, such as going into buy mode.
*Age of sim: This will make your sim older or younger. If you are in a hurry to get through those teen years or you want to keep your sim a certain age, this will do it unlimited.
*Learn about the Picture: I wanted to add a purely educational element to this image, so I did a mini report on the Galaxy that was used for the picture. It is most informative, and will add interest in sci-fi to your sim when they read it.
*Motives: You can use this to drain energy, max motives so that your sim doesn't run off on you while you are trying to test something, or you can fill your energy only.
That is it so far. I think this is a neat item, and I hope you all find it useful.
If you like this object, please take a minute to leave a comment and say thanks. I value all your feedback.
A few thanks of my own here: Thanks to Princess and Rob for testing it. Thanks to Smithy for his money pile, which I studied for creating my money functions in this. Thanks to Katy for all the advice that you have given me in helping me to learn general creation related things. Thanks to cathair2005 for her incredible time changing codes, which I also studied to create mine.
