Hello Again All,

Only Rob and a hand full of others know how dear this project was to me back when I first concieved of the idea. It's conception, however, preceeded my knowlege of how to create an object. I had Rob show me the basics and then I went on, trying to learn how to do each thing that I wanted this cross to do. The end result was an object that did everything I wanted it to do in game, but I hated looking at the mesh. It just wasn't what I wanted it to be. It was well done, but not realistic enough. At the time, I had very little knowlege of mesh creation. I did the best I could. But, after a few years, I've learned a thing or two about 3D object building and editing. So I went back in and remastered the mesh, and I am so much happier to see this object in game now. It looks like I wanted it to look. One of the pictures here has a comparison between the old mesh and the new one. Included in the upload are the regular sized stone Jesus statue, a color version, a white stone version, and a larger sized Stone Jesus.

What is this? (for those of you that have not seen it before)

My goal in creating this was to be the first person to bring prayer to the Sims, and I did just that. This cross will allow you to do the following things.

Pray for Forgiveness

Curse God (Updated animations, even funnier)

Praise God

Plead with God

Preach to anyone who will listen!

While preaching, your sim will gain charisma points and there are a few other surprises to the other actions.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

1. poly count for this statue is a little high. For slower systems this object may cause slow down in your game.

2. Some of the interaction will continue to loop unless you exit the action or your sim's vitals get too low. I sugest just exiting the action.

Hope you guys like it. Please take a moment to leave a comment and say thanks.

Poly Counts

Poly Count: 4012 (about 1000 per tile)

Games Needed

Tested with the original game.
