This style of dress has s special kind of meaning to me. It brings back to my childhood and the house-dresses my beloved Aunt Viola wore. It makes me think of warm and comforting things and that is why I absolutely love this dress.

I'm pretty sure Mrs Cleaver would love these dresses too, but she'd have to forgo her signature string of pearls. It's a perfect every day dress

 

You will need to have the MESH in order for this dress to show up in your game.

 

I have all of the expansion and stuff packs installed, as well as the latest patch from Origin.

:389-Amours-love-:What Beck said is so true! I love this dress and your recolours are gorgeous, Karen! I just have the problem that my pc is complaining about the large files by getting slow and sluggish :(  Any advice will be welcome.

Alet, do you mean downloading or having them in the game? I can always put fewer recolours in a package and then I can also merge them for those that can download larger files. If that would be better, it's not a problem doing that at all.

:blush: I know I do have a problem with the number of recolours I do, I just go bananas and make so many.  :laugh1:

Alet do you mean it's slower for all programs or just Sims 4?

 

If it's just slower all the way around the best thing to do is to restore your computer with a clean install of everything.  I know it's a lot of work but it gets rid of any malware etc.  Be sure to backup all your important files and your game files on to a separate source.  But first make sure all of your fans are working well inside the computer, that will cause it to be really sluggish too.

Yes, MM , it will really help if you put fewer recolours in a package! Thank you for considering that!  That is, if it won't be a problem for the site.

I was having issues loading the game. I did a massive clean up and got rid of a whole lot of files by using the Microsoft Clean up tool. My game loads much faster but since I don't actually play it I had no idea the size of my uploads could affect the game itself.

I also have a cooling fan under my laptop, if that would help you as well.
