Uploads and SFS

Sims 4 Uploads are taking a bit of a break, as I am moving my Sims 2 files to SFS. This is being done to reduce the space we are currently using on our site. We hope to eventually transfer all of our uploads to SFS, but this will take some time. Please be patient and understanding as I will still upload things for Sims 4, just with possibly long times between Sims 4 uploads.

I have been taking a while to do mine too.  I have been trying to make sure I fixed the integrity of all my mesh files and just general checking for any problems.  I just feel better to get our file on SFS, just in case we ever want to go with a lower cost type of website or whatever the case might be.  Even lower costing software too.  You have always been so very generous, but well I just like to be on the safe side.  I did find a free image server for those files that we want multiple images for and the images may be kept indefinitely. at https://postimages.org/ I had an account there from before when we used SimpleMachine software.

If I knew how to properly upload my files to our Blog site, I would do that, but I can't figure out how to turn a page. The blog is entirely free I think. My brain is a bit fuzzy because it's early in the morning and I'm not used to getting up this early. My fluffy 4 footed alarm clock is to blame. His technique could use some improvement, a nose poking me in the eye is sometimes a bit of a shock.

Do you mean our tumbler site?  That is just so difficult to even figure out what is what on there.  I mean what's there is nice but there isn't anyway to organize the files.  The sad part is it only used a small section of the screen in the middle and more wasted space on both sides, then is used for the pics.  I was thinking maybe something would work on Facebook.   I don't know it's just something I've been toying with for quite awhile, it's just that it would take such a long time to set up.  I realized today I have been here for just over 12 years.  I also, noticed you have 14 pages of posts which is also the number of pages I have.  You have really done so much!

I have found several links that do not work to our own posts and the darn search option is worthless.

I came across that as well, so I just did a search on our site. On the right side there is also the option of going to Sims 2 and picking the one you need. E.G. select CAS for clothing. Buy for objects, etc.

 

I forgot to say, I don't think it would take a long time to set up a group account, I know they have that option. There are a lot of Sims groups on Facebook.

I just had to go through the list of items to find things.  That is a good idea to just go to the needed category though.  Good lookin out!  It just sucks that the search option doesn't find things.

 

Do you think a Facebook Group would work?  I'd say it's worth a try.  I think we'd want a separate group for Sims 2 and Sims 4.  We have so few posts for Sims 3 and I know most of mine are outdated, so I hid them.

I do think a Facebook account would work. We would need 2 groups and then someone to be in charge of those groups. In all honesty I don't have the time to do that. I also don't go on it that often.

LOL I don't use Facebook much at all either.
