This is a crop top, BUT it works very well with MOST high-waisted skirts and pants. Depending on the skirt or pants you choose, there could be some clipping and sadly I do not know how to fix that. I just like this particular crop top because when paired with the high-waisted bottoms I chose, the midriff was not exposed. At my age 62- I am not a fan of exposed midriffs, I prefer modest clothing and I know a lot of other people do as well.

This dress is so cute with it's jacket. It is either a formal outfit, or even suitable for everyday. I have also included a mix of Christmas patterns that will make this dress one for all occasions.

I was kinda goofing around and then it hit me! Just for fun I decided to recolour these pants I like in Houndstooth, Plaid, and Thin Stripes--BUT--I also decided they would need some kind of top that matched.
The Blazer and Top are both Base Game items so they don' require a mesh!!
The pants require this MESH.
This was a really fun project for me and I hope your Simmies like them a lot. I do admit that this has got me thinking about doing something similar with a skirt.

I had a blast recolouring this dress. I think it's so cute and versatile for the ladies. I did some Christmas patterns as well. For patterns where I had a matching contrasting pattern, I used the darker one for the collar and cuffs. For the plain colours I replaced the lace collar with a lace pattern I have in my collection of lace.
Your ladies can wear this dress to so many functions and look very classy.

MM_RC_Chloe dress set

Finally, my biggest project is here. This is a multi-generational dress. Toddlers, Child, Teen, Adult and Elder females.
Simple Simmer converted the Child dress for Toddlers and Adults. I LOVE her for doing that!
Warning: I made a LOT of recolours and there are Christmas patterns in this project as well.
You don't need the Child mesh but you do need the ADULT MESH and the TODDLER MESH.
You should also look at Simple Simmer's other stuff, she has some wonderful stuff on her site.

***The adult mesh you need is called V2.*****

You will need this MESH and this MESH for the pants and blouse to show up in your game. The pants are from [SIMSTEFANI] and the blouse is from TSR.

These pants are high waisted pants and work well with most crop tops. Any type of top that is not tucked in will have clipping issues but I don't know how to fix that problem.
I found that a lace top turned out beautifully and I think it looks so classy.

What can I say, it's a skirt. It's from EP06 (Get Famous)and has been edited to make it longer in length and a higher waist which means it's a *MUST HAVE* for me
There are lots of recolours and patterns but I was too lazy to take a bunch of pictures of the skirt over and over.

Sifix at TSR does have some lovely dresses. I decided to use patterns for the top and I think by doing that, my recolours are more suited to an everyday situation. However this outfit is found in everyday and formal and I did not change those settings for my recolours.

I love this dress but it was a pain to upload. SFS kept timing out on me so I had to take 2 files and divide them in half. I apologize for having so many files (5) for you all to download. Nothing else would work.
I think this will be a lovely addition to your Sims ladies wardrobe for every day. As per my usual problem, I make way too many recolours, but one I start I go a tad bit bananas.

NO MESH NEEDED! This is a base game recolour.
I have this weakness for cowl neck tops and I made way too many. I don't know how that happened, I got started and then didn't seem to stop. OOPS!
These are just as I said, recolours of the base game cowl neck top, but now you have quite a lot of choices. I did do some plain recolours and the bulk of them are patterns that I just like.

Quite a long time ago I did recolours for this dress and somehow in all my searching, I couldn't find them. So I made new recolours. This dress comes in 4 parts because of the sizes of the rars. The mesh is also in that folder and you have to download it for these dresses to show up in your game. All of the dresses are also *Elder* enabled, meaning they show up in your elder game content. These dresses are in the *Formal* category because I think the jacket makes them look like an outfit you'd wear for an evening out. There are some Christmas designs as well as other patterns.
I have The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection installed and these were made using that version of Bodyshop.

These outfits are the same as the previous upload, only they are for your teen girls. DeeDee Sims2 made a stand alone mesh so that the adult files do not have to be installed in order for the teen files to show up in your game. These recolours can be found in the everyday outfit category. Grandma, Mom and Teen daughter can all wear matching dresses every day or on Christmas morning. The mesh is included.
I have The ultimate Sims 2 Collection installed and these recolours were made using that version of Bodyshop.

A wonderful creator *vulrien* converted Rusty's Princess of Suit from Sims 4 to Sims 2. She has a lot of gorgeous content on her site. Go HERE and have a look and possibly download what you love.
I have The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection installed and these recolours were made using that version of Bodyshop. As I did with all my previous Sims 2 adult female files, these outfits have been elder enabled. That means they will also show up in your female elder content. Grandma looks HOT and Grandpa gets a mischievous twinkle in his eye! I forgot to tell you all that these outfits show up in the *every day* category.

I cannot even remember where I saw this top, it's been so many years ago, It was originally made before *Ultimate Collection* so I re-made it using *Ultimate Collection Body Shop*, I think it's a cute top for everyday wear. Also it doesn't require a mesh which I think is a bonus.
