SIP-Sims in Paris made some lovely rooms and this living room was one of my favourites. In total I made 60 recolours. The plain recolours have pillows with embroidered or cross stitched images I found on the internet. The patterned recolours I kept the pillows all plain.
Please note that the recolour of the coffee and end table are in their own file. The mesh file has also been uploaded as a separate file.
I hope you and your Simmies enjoy these new recolours.
Happy Simming Everyone!!
These files have been moved to FS and also include the meshes needed. Dec19/19
Today I have a new set. It is a recolour of HolySimoly's "Bette Sofa", HugeLunatic's @Sims2Artists "Pinched Drapes", om @Avalon, "Jia Curtain" and Echo's 3x4 floor rug.
All the necessary meshes are included. Many thanks to Rebecah, who fixed the meshes, making it possible for me to recolour my favourite things.
Thank you to everyone at Affinity who has helped and encouraged me as I continue to learn how to recolour my favourite things.
Here is my second recolour of Holy Simoly's "BetteSofa", HugeLunatic's @Sims2Srtists, "Pinched Drapes", om's @Avalon, "JiaCurtain" and Echo's 3x4 floor rug.
Many thanks to Rebecah who fixed the meshes, making it possible for me to recolour my favourite things.
All the necessary meshes are included.
Thank you to everyone here at Affinity who has helped me as I recoloured these items. Your advice, suggestions and critique helped me to make a set which I am very proud of.
Rebecah posted HERE her fixed version of a lovely Antique Sofa Set that was converted from Sims3 to Sims2. You will need her meshes to have this set show in your game. I found this set and instantly wanted it for my game, I wish I could also have it in my house. I prefer to have matching sets and this one has everything, including a matching love seat created by our talented Rebecah.
If you have the original mesh, you will need to replace the sofa, lounger, curtains, and chair with Rebecah's fixed meshes.
After a long day at work, your Simmies can come home and relax in this wonderfully comfortable Sofa Set. I just wish I could too.
I have more recolours coming soon.
I hope you enjoy this set as much as I enjoyed recolouring it. Have fun!
These files have been changed to also be elder enabled. This outfit will now show in both adult and elder categories. Please redownload if you want this outfit for your elders as well.
Continuing on with that lovely 1930 Project, today I have some recolours of what is called *Simple Dress*.
I have included the mesh for convenience, but please do go HERE and get the originals. They are absolutely divine.
Annie is back in all her Maxis glory with the exception of her outfits, as usual.
I have all EP's and Stuff Packs and these recolours were made using Mansion and Garden's Body Shop.
I hope your Sims enjoy these new recolours as much as my Annie does.
This is the 4th in a collection of 4 designs by Shannanigan and unfortunately I do not have a link.
I loved that I could make use of many of my border fabric images. The skirt is the border fabric and the top is a colour extracted from that border fabric so it matches.
As with all my uploads, these are elder enabled, meaning they will show up in both the adult and elder categories of your game.
Trapping converted Bunhead's Victorian Pencil Skirt for adults to one for Teens. This is one of those conversions that needs the adult files in order for the teen files to show up. The mesh file contains Bunhead's original colours that I elder enabled, and trapping colours for the teen file as well as Bunheads colours also made for teens. It was just easier to keep everything together rather than figure out what was what.
In Memory of our beloved Nonni.
This is the beautiful retro style living room made by Nofrena at Wood for Sims. ALL of the required meshes are included in each individual file inside the rar file. I made 10 wood recolours and I think around 60 recolours of everything. You can mix and match to your heart's content.
I also recoloured the table top phone and wall phone but forgot to take pictures.
The rugs are a mesh from N65 and come in various sizes, the 2 largest ones are in the rug category, but the 3 smaller ones are in the decorative miscellaneous category.
The decor pillow is also in the decorative miscellaneous category.
The bedroom also has a single bed which I recoloured but did not include in the pictures as well as a wall mirror. The bed itself does NOT use maxis bedding, so I only made 5 colours for the bedding and then made curtains for the bedroom using XM Sims bedroom4 curtain meshes.
I hope you all enjoy the new colours.
Happy Simming Everyone!
These files have been moved to SFS and include the meshes. Dec19/19
Today I have 25 more quilts with matching drapes. Now that winter has fully settled in our Simmies need to keep warm. What better way than sleeping as snug as a bug under a rug?
Well in this case-hand made quilts. There are a few Christmas themed quilts in this collection. And to make decorating easier the quilts have matching drapes.
Now if I could just get these cousins of mine to stop playing and get back to work, we'll have more quilts.
I absolutely cannot decorate a lot without the beautiful *Jonesi Bed Blanket*
Thank to our talented Rebecah, who fixed the mesh and added a longer size. The original mesh needed the "moveobects" cheat, now it doesn't. You will need Rebecah's fixed mesh HERE
As you can see more relatives showed up and helped make many recolours of this gorgeous decorative blanket.
I've put them all to work but they keep taking breaks. I caught these two, Clyde and Cliff tasting candies.
This is a large file with a little more than 100 recolours. I used a lot of eyelet fabrics as I really like the look.
All of my mice family hope you enjoy these new recolours.
Happy Simming Everyone.
Today I have more Christmas recolours for your decorating pleasure. This time it is the *Country Living Set*, a Sims3 to Sims2 conversion set. You will need Rebecah's fixed set HERE
30 recolors included.
Happy Simming Everyone!
I realized that I had not done any Christmas recolours of my favourite sofa set. I couldn't believe I had forgot to do this one for Christmas.
You will need Rebecah's fixed mesh HERE
Here they are, 30 recolours in Christmas fabrics for your decorating pleasure.
I hope your Simmies enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.
Happy Simming Everyone!
Rebecah was kind enough to take time from her busy schedule to fix the Livingroom Set that goes with the Antiquities Bedroom set from SimplanX. We discussed this set and decided to also include the beautiful recolours done by the original creator, as her site is now closed. They are included with the mesh files as are the walls and floors for the Antiquities Set. Rebecah added the cushion morphs and fixed some issues with the chair, loveseat and sofa. She also made the sofa and loveseat pull their textures from the chair to eliminate the need for extra recolors files. The chair is the master to the sofa and loveseat.
Sofa is found under seating sofas for $1450.
Loveseat is found under seating sofas for $750.
Chair is found under seating living chairs for $629.
Cabinet is found under surfaces/coffee tables for $240.
Coffee Table is found under surfaces/coffee tables for $240.
End Table is found under surfaces/end tables for $65.
As with the recolours I did for the Bedroom Set, there are the same patterns in this set, all 133 of them. The curtains are part of the Bedroom Set, so you will need that set, for the curtains to show up for this set. This set is particularly perfect for textured fabric images, they seem to show so much better and this one was an absolute joy to do. I hope you like the set and the recolours and that your Sims are happy as well.
May the Blessings of Christmas be granted to one and all.
I would also like to thank each and everyone who has downloaded my recolours. Since I am new to this, it is a wonderful feeling to have people like what I am learning to do. Thank you all very much. A special thank you to Rebecah who taught me how to recolour, and to my family here at Affinity who have been so supportive and encouraging.
Glory to our Lord who has given me this new skill to share with others.
Note you will need the bedroom set for the curtain which is found by clicking here or you may click the link added under the download button.
Continuing on with my recolours of SimplanX's Antiquities Set, here are the recolours of the Office Set.
You will need Rebecah's fixed set HERE
All of these recolours match the previous recolours I have uploaded for the *Antiquities Set*. You will need the matching bedroom set for the curtains.
I did recolour the top of the desks but it is a bit difficult to match it up with the rest of the set. I just put the desk where I want it and then do a *top down* view and click until I find the correct pattern.
Rebecah made it so that the office chair recolours also recolour the Luxiary King Arm Chair so all these recolours also recolour that set as well.
Happy Simming Everyone!
A while back I asked Rebecah to look at the "Serendipity Set" made by Phoenix Phaerie. It only needed some minor fixes but I didn't have a curtain to pair it with until I found HL's Panel Curtain.
If you have the Serendipity Set, you need to replace the original files with these files that have been fixed by Rebecah.
All mesh files are included.
Happy Simming Everyone!
These files have been changed to be elder enabled. This outfit will now show in both adult and elder categories. Please redownload if you want this outfit for your elder ladies as well.
I am learning how to do clothing and this is my first upload. I am a bit nervous about this new venture.
Eltanin at MTS made this adorable dress and I just had to try some new textures and patterns. You have to go HERE for the original mesh.
I made this version to have a different top from the skirt and call it *Cutsie Dress 2Tone*
Many thanks to Eltanin for making such a lovely dress, CatofEvilGenius also at MTS for her help in answering my questions, Nonni for asking over and over for me to learn how to do clothing and then Rebecah and Nonni asking me to upload my versions.
I have all of the games and stuff packs, so this was made using Mansion and Garden's BodyShop.
My lovely model-Annie is pure Maxis content with the exception of her outfits.
I give thanks to God who has made this possible.
These files have been changed to also be elder enabled. This outfit will now show in both elder and adult categories. Please redownload if you also want this outfit for your elder ladies.
The weekend is approaching, does your female adult Sim need a new dress for Date Night? Or perhaps she needs a new dress for dinner at the downtown restaurant with her group of friends.
HERE is the original mesh with recolours and it's perfect for that special night out.
She is sure to impress anyone in these lovely formal dresses. Complete with two-tone shoes, this is a beautiful formal dress.
*Bunhead* the original creator has absolutely lovely things on her blog. I urge you to visit it, I doubt you'll be able to resist what she has to offer.
These files have been changed to be elder enabled. They will now show in both adult and elder categories. Please redownload if you want this outfit for your elder ladies as well.
Bunhead has this wonderful site HERE and made this outfit having been inspired by the TV series MadMen. I loved the dresses from that series and was ecstatic to find some had been made for the Sims2. It's categorised as everyday and I think it makes a lovely work dress for the office.
As usual I recoloured the shoes to match the outfits, I have a thing for shoes.
There are so many things on Bunhead's site, you really should visit and grab what appeals to you.
I have all the expansion and stuff packs and this outfit was made using Mansions&Garden's BodyShop.
This is the last of Cocomama's coats that I recoloured. This one is a lovely longer version of the Trench Coat. I did have one problem that I couldn't fix, one of my recolours doesn't show properly so the last picture I up-loaded is of that one. I wasn't particularly fond of the shorter Trench Coat and much prefer this one.
As with all my uploads these are elder enabled, meaning they will show up in both the adult and elder categories of your game.
There is this amazing site called *The Big Trade-Off* and if you have never visited, it's an absolute must.
It's possible your downloads folder may groan a wee bit, but it's so worth it!
I do think this is such a cute summer type top and it goes with any kind of bottom you want to pair it with.
As with all my downloads, this is elder enabled, meaning that it will show in both elder and adult categories of your game.
In searches for things I like, Gayars came across this sweater, and gave me the link. As soon as I saw them, I just had to have them. It comes with a catch though, the adult files are *necessary* in order for the age converted recolours to show up. I have elder enabled the sweaters and then also included the teen recolours in this upload so you won't have to search for all the recolours for this sweater.
The teen recolours will NOT show up without the adult files also being in your downloads folder.
I am sorry if all you want are the teen male recolours but I don't know how to un-slave the age converted ones from the original adult file.
I have other clothings where this seems to be the practice as well and I will always inform you when those conditions apply to what I upload.
The mesh file contains all the age groups but I've only done the adult and teen ones. If you happen to like cardigans as much as I do, then these are a definite must-have for your game.
With Christmas fast approaching and the temptation to over indulge in all those yummy Christmas goodies I thought it might be a good idea to have some more colours of my favourite exercise outfit.
Since this is a Maxis outfit, no mesh is required.
As will all my adult uploads, this is elder enabled-meaning it will show in both adult and elder categories in your game.
Eltaniz makes some lovely clothing for our Sims.
This is the Charlotte Gown and I see it as a bridesmaid dress or even a Mother of the Bride dress.
As with all my adult female clothing uploads, these have been elder enabled, meaning they will show up in both the adult and elder categories of your game.
May all of you have a Blessed and Holy Christmas. Love you all.
Lidiqnata has made a 50's style suit set for men and women. She has 2 sets for upload at MTS and this is *Vintage Chic-Part 2* of the female one.
I did my recolours based on her design of which she used a mesh from AllAboutStyle.
I think there are 3, possibly 4 Christmas patterns that I used.
As with all my adult female clothings, these have been elder enabled meaning they will show in on both the adult and elder categories of your game.
They have so many pretty things at GoS and this is another one of their pretty tops. With lower waisted clothing, this top has a lovely kind of ruffle and then when you have higher waisted clothing, the top gets tucked in without bits sticking through.
As with all my adult clothing uploads, these have been elder enabled, meaning they will show up in both the adult and elder categories of your game.
Coming soon----teen female outfits!!!!
