9 Electrical outlets from around the globe...
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 03 July 2007 - 01:44 AM
Hi all,
My outlet was the first mesh that I ever successfully added to the game. It was well liked, and MANY requests came in for variations of it. The result was nine decorative outlets, two having a plug and cord connected to them, from ALL corners of the globe. If you want me to make one for your corner of the world, I will provide that I have the time to. I hope you all like these. I got really sick of making them back when everyone was requesting them, but now I would enjoy having more to make. The face count for any one of these was less than 500 polys with the exception of the surge protector. That one had a little over 900 polys. These are decorative only...no interactions.
If you like this download, please take time to say thanks and leave some feedback. I enjoy hearing your feedback very much!

A Celtic style cross with over 130 scriptures
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 21 April 2007 - 02:56 PM
Hi all,
So this is a celtic style cross with an opened Bible at its base. By clicking on the object, you will have access to a variety of Bible related things.
Catigorized scripture
You can pick from one of eight catigories to get a scripture that might apply to you or your sim in your situations.
Random Scripture
You can select this option to get a random scripture that will be pulled from a library of 128 scriptures.
Learn about Christians
Rob and I talk a little bit about what we believe.
All scriptures will give you two options after reading it, if you choose to get more verses. You can either get a random verse from the catigory you are in or get a random verse from the total 128 verses available.
A special thanks to Worship4Ever here. He helped me a lot at looking up scriptures for this object and contributed in support and ideas along the way. He is a good Creator, a good Christian and a good friend.
Also, thank you to Lolita, Rob, and John for testing this object for me.
This is a bigger project than I have worked on in the past, so if there are any issues that you see with this when you use it, please report them immediatley to me via IM.
Face Count= 1934 over one tile
If you like this object, please take time to say thanks and leave a comment. Thanks to you all

Jesus Statue Remastered! (Custom Animations, Custom Mesh)...
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 28 August 2008 - 08:19 PM
Hello Again All,
Only Rob and a hand full of others know how dear this project was to me back when I first concieved of the idea. It's conception, however, preceeded my knowlege of how to create an object. I had Rob show me the basics and then I went on, trying to learn how to do each thing that I wanted this cross to do. The end result was an object that did everything I wanted it to do in game, but I hated looking at the mesh. It just wasn't what I wanted it to be. It was well done, but not realistic enough. At the time, I had very little knowlege of mesh creation. I did the best I could. But, after a few years, I've learned a thing or two about 3D object building and editing. So I went back in and remastered the mesh, and I am so much happier to see this object in game now. It looks like I wanted it to look. One of the pictures here has a comparison between the old mesh and the new one. Included in the upload are the regular sized stone Jesus statue, a color version, a white stone version, and a larger sized Stone Jesus.
What is this? (for those of you that have not seen it before)
My goal in creating this was to be the first person to bring prayer to the Sims, and I did just that. This cross will allow you to do the following things.
Pray for Forgiveness
Curse God (Updated animations, even funnier)
Praise God
Plead with God
Preach to anyone who will listen!
While preaching, your sim will gain charisma points and there are a few other surprises to the other actions.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
1. poly count for this statue is a little high. For slower systems this object may cause slow down in your game.
2. Some of the interaction will continue to loop unless you exit the action or your sim's vitals get too low. I sugest just exiting the action.
Hope you guys like it. Please take a moment to leave a comment and say thanks.
Poly Counts
Poly Count: 4012 (about 1000 per tile)
Games Needed
Tested with the original game.

A Chandelier for the eligant Sim (Now exclusive to SS2)
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 28 September 2007 - 10:47 PM
Hi all,
You may remember this light from another site, but I can finally release this here. I really wanted to release it before but couldn't. This is a Chandelier for you fancy sims home. I created it because I just felt like there were no really cool chandeliers out there. So I created these two. I did the mesh for these early in my meshing attempts, and I remember Smithy giving me a great compliment on their symmetry (Thanks, Smithy). His compliment was of the highest caliber because Smithy was known for his meshing skills. Anyway, LOL, the end result was these, and I hope, for those of you who didn't find them at the other site, that you like these and will add them to your homes. Also included here are the recolors that I did for these two chandeliers.
Face Count:
Chandelier 1: 1,650 faces
Chandelier 2: 1,755 faces

Cross statue (by request) and a crucifix (also by request)
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 30 June 2007 - 08:34 AM
Hi all,
This is one of my older uploads. You may have seen it at SMB. I'm going to be uploading most of my objects to this site over time and begin deleting them from SMB. I made this cloth covered cross a while ago in response to someone requesting it due to their feelings about Jesus. I have added all the same interactions to this cross that are in my Jesus statue. I also decided to add the custom interactions for the big cross to a crusifix that I made a while ago for another site, also by request. You will find them both in the download bellow. I have learned how to add skill building to my object, thanks to Katy and a friend named Echo. Thanks to you both. So now, as your sim preaches, they will gain charisma points. There is no skill gain notification dialog yet. I'm still learning how to do that part. But you will gain the skill while preaching.
For those of you who don't have my Jesus statue, the interactions are:
Plead with God
Pray for Forgiveness (ends with motive boost)
Preach to anyone that will Listen (Now, Gain Charasma skill during use)
Curse God (Very funny resulting animation)
Praise God
The preaching interaction has been removed from the crusifix, due to it not making sence for it to have one. I hope you all like this.
Face count:
Non-Jesus Cross = 1006 (About 500 per tile)
Crusifix = 809 (One tile object)
Please do not repost or post recolors of this object without my permission
If you like these objects, please take time to thank me and leave some feedback. I love seeing what you have to say!!!

Smithy and Kevin's Blackbird...
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 29 September 2007 - 06:14 PM
Hello again all,
Yet another creation that was exclusive to "The site of which we do not speek", the Blackbird was the colaberative work of Smithy's genius coding skills and my meshing skills. It turned out far better than I had even invissioned, and was so happy to present it then. Though it is drivable, it serves no practical function other than looking cool. It's a pain in the neck to parelel park *insert canned laughter here*. Well, now it will be exclusive to this site. I hope you all like it. Smithy and I were quite proud of it. Face count on this is about 5600. Not too bad for a vehicle. Your games should run it just fine. It will require Nightlife to be operable. Also included is a decorative blackbird that has a few small interactions associated with it that the drivable black bird does not.

The Quizomatic will test your knowledge and give you skills...
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 11 November 2007 - 02:11 PM
HI all!
This is a project that I've been working on for a while, and I now present it here for all to enjoy. Quizomatic is an object that will give you the chance to take a ten question true or false test that rewards you will skill points, money, and mood boosts depending on how you do. It selects randomly from 60 questions (in this case, Astronomy questions), each question progressively more difficult than the last one. The Quizomatic keeps score and will even tell you how you are doing! If your score reaches 70%, you will fail the test. Failing the test will cause your sim to loose a skill point in a random catigory. However, up until a certain point, you'll have the option to quit the quizomatic before it is too late. If you have ideas for future Quizomatic test subjects, please drop me a line. I hope you all like this as much as I enjoyed creating it, and I hope that, if nothing else, you will find it educational.
Face Count:1580
BTW, you WILL need Sims 2 University for this to run.

An oil burning lantern for your old fashioned Sim....
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 25 September 2007 - 09:01 AM
Hi all,
There were certain items that I uploaded exclusively to a certain site where I was forced to leave them due to my agreement with that site. This was one of those items that I thought was super cool and wished that I could share with others. Now, that site is closed, so all my material that was exclusive to them will now be available here. The face count on this item is a little high, but it is not out of the norm for talble lamps. Let me know if it causes any issues in game. I hope you all like it.

A DO ALMOST EVERYTHING Portrate for Creators(lots of new interactions, hacked object)
By KevinsHope in Object Mods
Posted 03 July 2007 - 11:17 PM
Hi All,
My intent in creating this painting was two-fold. The most important of these reasons was to create an object that would save creators time in testing their objects. For example, if you want to test a bed and your sim has full energy, then you can use this painting to drain their energy. The second intent I had was to try out and learn some new techniques for myself, including manipulation of stats, changing tile count, adding dialog boxes..that sort of thing, so there are some fun things that the painting does that serve no real purpose for object creation. I consider this as a work in progress as I want it to be a catch-all creator's tool, but it is already highly useful for many functions, so I am going to post it as is. You may want to keep an eye out for updates. No global hacks were used in this object and it has been tested with Nightlife, though I believe it will work with the base game.
Here are the things you can control...
*Finances: You can easily add money to your sim's account or donate money to charity to earn nice points. Don't get too greedy with this one, as I have a surprise for the greedy sim.
*Clothing: You can use this painting to change into any outfit that you need them to be in.
*Skill points: You can add skill points either by category or add a random skill point to your sim.
*Commit suicide: This option makes your sim die. Don't use this on a sim that you don't want dead.
*Aspirations: You can fill your sim's aspirations and mood.
*Time of day: You can change the hour to any time of day. This was to make it quick and easy to test an object in the dark or daylight, depending on what the creator needed. I have often needed to change to nighttime or see how an object affects the game over a matter of hours. This accomplishes that. NOTE: If you alter the time from a daylight hour to a nighttime hour or vice versa, the change will not take effect until you do an action that resets game state, such as going into buy mode.
*Age of sim: This will make your sim older or younger. If you are in a hurry to get through those teen years or you want to keep your sim a certain age, this will do it unlimited.
*Learn about the Picture: I wanted to add a purely educational element to this image, so I did a mini report on the Galaxy that was used for the picture. It is most informative and will add interest in sci-fi to your sim when they read it.
*Motives: You can use this to drain energy, max motives so that your sim doesn't run off on you while you are trying to test something, or you can fill your energy only.
That is it so far. I think this is a neat item, and I hope you all find it useful.
If you like this object, please take a minute to leave a comment and say thanks. I value all your feedback.
A few thanks of my own here: Thanks to Princess and Rob for testing it. Thanks to Smithy for his money pile, which I studied for creating my money functions in this. Thanks to Katy for all the advice that you have given me in helping me to learn general creation related things. Thanks to cathair2005 for her incredible time changing codes, which I also studied to create mine.

Four functional pedestals with five recolors for each....
By KevinsHope in New Meshes
Posted 03 July 2007 - 01:22 AM
Hi all,
I'm back again for the moment, with a project that I started before I left for a while. These are the pedestals that I've been working on. They don't do anything special other than serving as a table for decorations to sit on, but I just feel like there are not enough pedestals for all the tabletop statues that are out there. LOL Anyway, I hope you all like these.
Found under and tables for $200
Warning: Pedestal 1 of this collection is super high face count. It has more faces than all three of the others combined. 2033 faces! I thought it was cool so I left it with this collection. It caused no slow down in my game but may cause slow down in older computers. Face counts for the other three are 549, 228, and 522.
If you all like these uploads, feel free to leave a comment.
Please review my policy on uploading and recoloring of my objects if you intend to recolor these or upload these at another site.
