Maxis Moderniste Chair - Base Game Marble Recolos for Rob's Tables (Links fixed)
By HeartDeco in Object Recolors
Posted 24 February 2008 - 07:25 AM
I thought these chairs looked somewhat in proportion to be appropriate for Rob's beautiful Marble Tables. There are four recolors - Black, Blue, Green, Red and a White one to match his mesh.
The Table mesh can be found here -> GO for his 2x2 Marble Dining Table
Table Recolours can be found here -> GO
Happily,
Debra
Edit: That name of the Chair should be Moderniste and it is an upper end chair.

Small Decorative Sculpture Pedestals - Round and Square
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Hi Everybody,
Today, I have two small pedestals, one round and one square, for your display needs. The square shape was modeled after one of Rob's 1-tile Marble tables, used with his permission, about four years ago at SMB. They were made from a request for Simmers needing them for Greek and Roman neighborhoods, and an Art Museum.
Note: You can place them on another surface other than just the floor, but you must place your object on the pedestal first and then put it on the surface of your choice.
I hope you get lots of use from them,
Debra

Maxis Cul-de-Sac Fences Two New Colors
By HeartDeco in Build Mode - New Meshes
Posted 25 February 2008 - 08:55 AM
I have for you seven more fences and I am sure they will be useful for a variety of tastes. Added November 28, 2011
Good Evening to Everyone,
I bring you two new fences ('cause technically you can't recolor a fence). They cost $10 per unit instead of the typical $100.
The first fence (#4 in the rar file) is made of Hewn Stone with a Marble cap. It is a bit more stately and just right for mature Flower Gardens, Cemeteries and Manor houses.
The second fence (#1 in the rar file) is my favorite, because I hunted high and low for the right texture - it is made of Rough Cedar and Weathered Iron. It is perfect for Old Churches, Castles and the like.
Enjoy,
Debra
Link to Mesh:
Maxis Made Content
Special Note about Fences: Even though this is a base game fence, the ability to make new colors was not possible until SimPE was updated when University came out. So this fence will require one/any expansion pack in order for them to show up in your game.

A Simple Egg A Golden Nest Egg for Your Sims to Enjoy
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 23 February 2008 - 09:28 AM
Greetings To All,
This egg was originally an exercise in meshing for myself. When I was done and satisfied that it was perfect, I felt like it needed to do something other than just sit there. This is a frustratingly bad habit that eggs have. Anyway, here it is in all it's golden glory. It is affordably priced for even the poorest Sim, just $5. At midnight, it becomes worth $5000. Your Sim can then sell it and buy more eggs with his windfall. The "glass" recolors were made for Easter.
Polys: Facets=528, Vertices=326
Cost: $5
Catalog sort: Decorative/Sculpture
Colors: Gold (mesh), plus Amber/Green/White/Pink/Blue "Glass" recolors
Compatible for base game, plus all the EP's and SP's.
Buy Happy,
Debra

Tea Party Table A small, round Table for four
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 24 February 2008 - 07:52 AM
This is a cute little table I created, because there were no small round tables at the time. It is just big enough to seat four Sims, but not too big to cut into the wall next to it. The colors are Ash(default), Cherry, Mahogany, Oak, White and Black. Incidentally, these are all Maxis' own textures I took from the image files.
I just uploaded some recolors of the Tea Party in Teak chairs to go with this table. They can be found here ->GO
Enjoy,
Debra

A Simple Planter A Nice Box to Showcase your Sims' Plants & Flowers - Updated
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 26 February 2008 - 03:39 PM
Good Evening To All,
Well, I am starting to move my stuff back - here is my first entry. It appeared exclusively on SS2, 26Apr2007 and now will be exclusive to Affinity. There is the mesh and 15 recolors. The mesh is a rusty finish, as I was into that at the time, but most of the planters are marble. For best results, you must use the moveObjects cheat with the boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false cheat. I am currently learning about slots and when I understand them, I wish to add them to the mesh so that the cheats will not be needed.
Very low poly -> Facets=56 and Vertices=108
Basegame compatible through all EP's and SP's
Easy to recolor
Cost: $15
Found in Catalog: Decorative->Misc
Colors:
Aqua, Beige, Black, Blue, Burgandy, Green, Lavender, Peach, Peridot, Turquoise, and White Marble. Chiseled Brown Granite block, Pink and Red Granite. There is also one that is made with Light Timbers.

A Simple Puddle
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 20 March 2008 - 04:39 AM
Greetings To All,
I made this last year for Alet's piggies at SMB and because I thought it would be a fun item for storytelling. The puddle can be connected to another to make a bigger puddle and so on as seen in the pictures. Also, the clear ones can be stacked to create other shades.
The colors are:

Chocolate
Honey

Yellow Transparent

Mahogany Console Table
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 28 February 2008 - 07:19 PM
Good Evening Everyone,
Today, I have a little half-round console table for you - it is a 1-tile object. It is found in the Endtable category and costs $43. It's marble top comes in Dark Blue (default), Dark Green, Dark Red, Black and White. It was made for placement against a wall, but if you use the 'boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false' you can place it easily against a sofa, loveseat or chair for another look.
This table will hold one item, without cheats. For offset placement of items or placement of multiple items on the table, you may want to check out AriffRazalin's OMSP for end tables -> Here
Please Enjoy,
Debra

Sofa So Good - Indoor Outdoor Modern Seating for your Sims
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 27 October 2008 - 11:54 PM
Good Evening, Everyone!
Updated Mesh 02Nov2008: I remeshed the sofa because I was not happy with the texture mapping. The last picture is the new "look". It looks much better now, so I hope you all will like it, too. Some "musical" recolors can be found here .
This object was cloned from a base game sofa and costs only $250. It looks suitable recolored in marble, wood, and fabric prints or it can be colored with a solid color or texture. The mesh is made so that the inside is textured as well. Ratings are: Comfort 8, Energy 2, Environment 2.
The mesh is covered with a Denim fabric, and the recolors include two Prints, White Marble and White Wood. I have included the fabric samples of the prints for your convenience. The sofa can be used in homes and community areas or any other setting that might require multiple seating, but where a regular sofa may not be as appropriate.

Updated Mesh 26Nov2009 Krampt Quarters - A One-tile desk for your Sims
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 05 March 2008 - 05:28 PM
Howdy Ya'll
I have for SimSafe2's one year Birthday a very nice, new paneled desk for smaller homes and children's rooms. I made it for the SS2 chat house to go in the computer room. It is one-tile and large enough for a computer. It cost $125 and has an environment rating of 2.
SvetLanka has made many beautiful recolors of this desk - you can find them here. If you want one that is a bit more country-style, you might want to look at my newest desk here.
Happy Birthday SimSafe,
Debra

Special Note about Desks: When using it in a child's room always leave the one tile to the right open, so they will put their homework on the desk. This is a Maxis thing and nothing to do with this desk in particular.
Note to Artists: If you use a wood grain to recolor, a burled pattern, a subtle grain or a painted wood color would look best. The entire image is 512x512 and, all except for a tiny corner for the knobs, is entirely of wood grain.

Simple Simons Little Sign Post A Sign Post for your Sims home or business
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 23 February 2008 - 05:40 PM
It's Mee Again,
This time I have brought you a little sign post that I cloned from the mailbox. All little Simmies need house signs and/or numbers and names for their businesses. I have also included a bunch of templates for you to use, in various woods, both colored and natural. They are ready to be personalized in only a simple paint program. The two I made are both white, but you can let your imagination run free with the color assortment. In keeping with my style (or quirks), these are all Maxis orignal textures taken from their image files. The wood half of the sign is also useful and large enough for making furniture and other wooden projects.
I hope you like them,
Debra

The Round Tuit Desk 1-Tile and perfect for children
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 25 November 2009 - 06:49 PM
Hello Everyone,
I made this desk today to brush the dust off my meshing. It is simple I know, but it was well worth the effort to remind me about how much I still don't know. These were done in the primary and tertiary color palette and so this is why I mentioned being perfect for the little simmies. I did try it out working with some small floral patterns, too and they looked more elegant - the possibilities seem endless. The texture map is real easy to use, it's 512x512 and I have uploaded it with the other files. I hope you enjoy working with it and using it in your game. Please excuse the quality of the pictures, I don't know what is causing it, but the desk looks really good ingame. If you want the matching chairs please go here.

Little Ones Desk and Chair set Plain Desk and Chair allowing more texture options
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 29 November 2009 - 08:46 PM
One of my friends was having trouble applying a picture to the Round Tuit desk, so I offered to make a plain set without the inlays. The mesh is textured in a white wood as it stands now and can be used just as is. You are welcome to texture it if you please. I do my best to map for the textures and to make it simple to use, so if you are having trouble just let me know.
Thank you for your support - you guys are great!

Real Carpet for Real Sims 21 Comfy and Colorful Carpets
By HeartDeco in Build Mode - Floors & Walls
Posted 22 October 2008 - 11:02 PM
Wow, it has been a while since I uploaded anything, so I hope I did this right. Cost of the carpet is only $2 each. All files are zipped into one archive for convenience. They are in .DBPF package form with the color name for each one, so you can pick and choose. Since they were created in HomeCrafter Plus, they should be compatible with all games.
The color of the carpet in the photo with the futon is "Garnet" and the grey one on the grass is Silver Pearl. The additional .png is of the color "Strawberry Cream".
Here are the names:
Topaz, Apricot Brandy, Purple Majesty, Dress Blues, Iris Petal, Peac o c k, Merry Cherry, English Lilac, Peach Nectar, Sea Glass, Lime Fizz, Sky, Silver Pearl, Rose Petal, Praline, Cloverleaf, Chocolate, Spearmint, Garnet, Butterscotch and Strawberry Cream.
I hope you enjoy them,

Woody Old-Fashioned Compact Stereo This is a Maxis "Found" Item
By HeartDeco in New Meshes
Posted 10 November 2008 - 03:59 PM
Good Afternoon, Everyone,
This is an object I found floating around the Maxis files almost two years ago. I had to convert it from a wall mounted stereo and build a package in order to use it. It's rather plain and not perfect, but it is cute and only $77. The sound wave/sonic vibration is slightly off-center, which annoys me, but I did not know how to fix it. Anyway, it works, with all the functionality of the other stereos, including the music notes and controlled by remote. It plays all the different types of music, appropriate to whichever game you have installed. The default color is mahogany, with an ash and white recolor. It is rated 7 for Fun and 8 for Body Skill.
I hope you like it,
Debra

Musical Seating - Updated Mesh 02Nov2008 For Music Theme Community Project
By HeartDeco in Object Recolors
Posted 28 October 2008 - 12:05 AM
Hi Everbody,
Update 02Nov2008: I completely reworked the mesh so the textures would map better. The last photo shows the new result on the music note recolors - they are not as stretched looking.
Here are three recolors of my new mesh, "Sofa So Good" (a little play on words for "So far so good"). As you can see I have done them all in classic black and white music notes for our Community theme project. They're perfect for music halls, homes or other community areas. The mesh can be found here
I hope you like them - have a great evening,
Debra
