Okay. I have a question about clean games. If you set up a clean game and return to your regular game, won't the game reset in all your neighborhoods? So you will actually have to start the game twice to get all your cc to show up and not turn into eaxis objects?
  2. Additional Meshes - Driftwood Relaxation Set

Whoa! Thunk! (That's the sound of me falling over.) This is so wonderful. Now you are going to make me shut down my game to add these in as soon as I can. I totally love repository sets, so I am totally thrilled with these. Thank you very much Rebecah! These will get a ton of use in my game.

Update October 26, 2013: Added file of textures and meshes needed to eliminate flashing blue items.: Here is another template house from my building hood here. The above picture is one of my current custom hoods I use exclusively for building residential lots. No sims have ever been played in this hood. I am dedicating all the houses I make in this hood to Affinitysims. This means that you will get to see new houses frequently. I'm hoping once a week. All lots will be unfurnished. There may be a few pieces of furniture or other objects, but consider each lot a template for YOU to decorate and modify as you want. If building is something you dislike, or you love to decorate and makeover houses, these are just for You. I build for both playability and taking pictures. So, don't expect to see a house with only teeny tiny rooms where I can't get a decent camera angle. Any small spaces are intentional, but not in ways that will make it difficult for your sims to get around the lot or other sims. Change it as much as you want. You may consider them fixer-uppers for your play style and decor tastes. Template Name: 6 Affinity Road Lot Size: 40x20 Price: 45,600 Description: This is a large 3-story house with many rooms. There is a single restroom on each floor. First Floor: The kitchen is partially furnished so you can see that it is roomy enough to accommodate a 3-tile dining table. The kitchen also has outside access for grilling or setting up tables for dining outside. The front room is the living area with enough room for a large family to enjoy family activities, homework desks, and receive guests if you wish. The Second Floor: There are three rooms on the second floor that can be used for bedrooms. There is also a balcony facing the front of the lot. There are no doors to this balcony - you have to decide which room gets the door. With single beds or bunk beds, you can fit a lot of kids in the second floor rooms if you like to play large families. The Third Floor: There are two bedrooms on the third floor. In my mind, one room is the bedroom for the Mistress and Master of the house, while the other is their dressing room/bathing room/office. But you can decide differently. Access to the balcony that wraps around to the back of the house is next to the bathroom. The outside of the lot has some landscaping and room for gardening or keeping pigs or sheep. There is a covered "barn" to keep your horses out of the sun. It is made for you to place a driveway. The layout of this house is one I used for a bunch of Uni sims. I had six sims living in this layout and had the fences much further closer to the front of the lot, so they could have a garden of a large size. I did not set this house up as dorms, just a regular house. Here are some pictures. Front Roof First Floor Another view of the First Floor with a view of the barn. Second Floor Third Floor Rear Exterior Another Exterior CC Not packaged: Invisible driveway-choose your own. Please use Clean Installer (http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/) or MacUnpac (http://forum.jfade.com/viewtopic.phpf=11&t=456) to install these lots to be sure to avoid any items or problems you do not want. These lots are originals, so have NEVER been played. I only play copies of my lots. Nonetheless, it is suggested you make a backup of your game before installing any new lots.? ? Expansions I have are: TS2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Seasons, Bon Voyage, GLS? Please let me know if I have unintentionally overlooked any creator or their content, or if you know of updated links. Finally, enjoy, have fun, and expect MORE!
  4. One Tile Old Rustic Desk

I can use one tile version as well. Thanks. Although I better check to make sure I don't already have it as I have a bunch of your stuff. Thanks.
  5. Old Rustic Desk

This is an older file, but I know I can put it to use. Thanks Jon!
  6. 4 Affinity Road

Glad you like the neighborhood MaAlet. I enjoy it too. I like look at the entire hood. It is a large hood. But I also like to focus my view on distinct sections. I gotta get busy posting another lot or two today.
  7. The Bucklebury

Nonni, you are so funny! Stashing a maid in the attic. Was it the Pleasant's maid? Did she quit after that near-death experience? I usually play with sound off because sim voices annoy me. I don't even like the sim music either. So I would never hear the sims crying if I stashed them in an attic. My sims seem real to me as well, but different because I have stories in mind for them. Some will have to die.
  8. 4 Affinity Road

Thanks for your reply, Nonni. Glad you like the neighborhood. I almost wasn't going to show it because the houses are crammed together more than I usually do for my building hood. But, I really wanted to fill up the hood with a lot of houses, so I'm packing them in there. I think they get in my way a bit when I'm building and taking pictures when the lots are that close. The houses I'm posting now are all along the right side of the road, going up to the top of the picture. That's why they all have even numbers. That's all of Affinity Road. That empty square you see at the top is where my market shops would be, if I had community lots in this hood. But I have another hood for community lots. When that square is full of lots, this hood will be filled, as that is my planned ending point. I'm quite a few lots ahead of what I'm posting but already trying to figure out how to post more hood views without revealing too much of the other sections done, or under construction. I could hide stuff temporarily behind boulders, but I made a rule that I can't move hood deco to build. Otherwise I'd probably have all the hood deco moving around all the time and never complete the project. Besides, just looking at lots is boring when I'm building.
  9. The Bucklebury

Did you download the lot, Nonni? I was trying to figure out what was stashed in that upper room. That's one of the places I like to stash stuff in my lots. Or surround them with hay, logs in a part of the yard. It's better than putting them in inventory. I once had a bunch of produce stashed in the inventory of the town's main farmer. The farmer died. Everyone had to eat fish and juice for a long time before inventory at the store was built up enough. If they had enough for juice. After that, my 'hoods had farmer co-ops. This time, the royal families have to share storing surplus -they will get a percentage of all crops to stockpile for times of famine.

Marbi, I love ponds and lots of plants on my lots. You should have seen it before I took out more than half the plants, trees, and bushes. Most of my sims get to spend a ton of money on landscaping before they get their homes furnished. Hehehehe. Because I'm an outdoor person stuck inside too often. I have to use TJ's perfect gardens mod from simbology.
  11. The Bucklebury

Oh. I really love this house, Marbi! It is just as cute as can be. I'll have to take it all in and post more later. My eyes are struggling this morning. But it looks so very charming for the little recluse at the edge of the village/forest.

Update October 26, 2013: Added file with textures and meshes needed to eliminate all flashing blue items, please click the download button to find the file. 2nd October 26, 2013 Update: For less confusion, I removed ALL items from lot that were flashing blue as I needed to exchange images. I apologize the packager did not want to package those items after I tried numerous times. The lot should now match all images. I'm back with another lot from my building 'hood. In case you haven't seen it, here is a picture of the 'hood. The most recent picture to date. This is a large hood, so this picture only represents a few houses. It shows only some of the houses that are currently ready for upload. When I'm done uploading all these lots, you will probably see another view of this hood. This lot is yet another intended for those that don't like to build or like to decorate and give lot makeovers. It is a template and is not fully furnished. You get to decorate and modify to your preferences. With that said, the second lot in this series is 4 Affinity Road Lot Size: 40x20 Price: 32,200 Description: 2-story house with a large and open first floor. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate a large dining table, hearth, etc. The living area to the left from the entry is spacious yet cozy for receiving guests, family activities and hamming it up for the camera. There are two bathing rooms on the lot. One on each floor. But don't worry, there is still room at various spots to provide an outhouse or two. The master bedroom is smaller than the wee ones room. The wee ones room can accommodate several bunk beds or a couple double beds. The patio off the kitchen/dining room is paved and roomy for grilling, dining and other activities. There is a second floor balcony accessible from the door across from the second floor landing. The outside is partially landscaped. You can see the tracks in the front that you can use as a guide to place a driveway, if you wish to have one. A driveway is not included with the lot. Front of the house. View of the roof and lot layout. This is a view of the first floor. This is a view of the second floor. The attic has a single room accessible via a ladder. Use your imagination for this; crafts, hobbies, extra bedroom, storage, servant's room, etc. Easy access from the kitchen to your outside dining and grilling. This is the back of the house. CC list below spoiler. Please use Clean Installer (http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/) or MacUnpac (http://forum.jfade.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=456) to install these lots to be sure to avoid any items or problems you do not want. I am extremely indebted to all the creators of the TS2 community. Especially Michelle, whose medieval and rustic colors I love. And iCad, because you can expect to see a lot of iCad colors in lots to come, which I think are wonderfully warm. Another thanks to the staff at affinitysims.com for having a nice place to play and enjoy the TS2 community. A special thanks to Nonni and Rebecah for helping to sort out problems with lots. We should now be good to go. Finally, enjoy, have fun, and expect MORE! Really, not kidding!
  13. 2 Affinity Road

Thanks Rebecah. Not over with yet. Lots more lots to come. But I'm tangling with my image hosting sites. Photobucket is pain in the tush. Imgur just stalls. Building helps me relax and have something to look forward to. I makeover the same lots until I get tired of the hood and there's no more room for hood deco. (I like the hood to be pretty even when not playing it.) Then I make a backup, or not, and start another new hood. Always have a bunch of houses on hand when one is needed. Although now I'm trying to get in the habit of sharing the lots instead of deleting them when I need more room to build. Thanks for replying and I'm glad you like this first one Nonni. Maybe you will share your pictures of how you make it over. Whatever you do with it, I won't be offended.

  15. FreeTime Community Lot Makeover

Love those community lots with multiple options to keep my sims and myself interested. You were so right -that lot was very ugly.
